WebSync Cloud is a service that gives you scalable access to a powerful real-time messaging engine. It comes with a collection of libraries that provide a myriad of ways to interact with it, enabling web-based client applications to receive real-time data from a central, hosted messaging hub.
At its core, WebSync is based on a publish/subscribe channel-based architecture, which means there are subscribers who listen to channels for published data and publishers who send data to specific channels. Channels are just arbitrary strings that link the two. In WebSync, subscribers are always clients, while publishing can take place from just about anywhere.
