Control Channel Settings

These configuration options set what channel settings can be updated with the REST API or the SDK:

• allowedChannelUpdates in DeploymentConfig.
• allowedChannelUpdatesOverride in ApplicationConfig and ChannelConfig.

Options in DeploymentConfig sets the default for all applications, but they can be overridden by Application or Channel settings. You can only configure these options with the v2 REST API.

allowedChannelUpdates and allowedChannelUpdatesOverride have the following settings:

• mute: Set to true by default in allowedChannelUpdates. Set to null by default in allowedChannelUpdatesOverride
• record: Set to true by default in allowedChannelUpdates. Set to null by default in allowedChannelUpdatesOverride
• enableRtmp: Set to true by default in allowedChannelUpdates. Set to null by default in allowedChannelUpdatesOverride
